SOLD to Lynn Barrett of California.
She is extensively showing him and will be breeding him.
Surprise was shown last year as a 2 year old in Paint Shows in Southern California. He consistently won in Halter and Color Classes over much older Mature Stallions. It looks like he is truly following in his fathers footsteps. Watch for him in the future. He is SURE to dominate in the show ring!!!
Talk about "Muscles". This guy sure has them. Surprise stands on a nice big straight set of feet and legs with long pasterns. He is one flashy looking colt with very unusual markings and should really excel in the show ring, on your working cow ranch, running barrels or in competition cutting, reining, roping, heeling, etc. Surprise has a deep heart girth and a long sloping shoulder. He has a very willing disposition and is calm and gentle just like his dam. This colt is just as loving and gentle as can be. He is just like his half brother "Bandit". You can do anything with him and he learns instantly. If you are looking for speed, this guy has it on both his top and bottom side. He should mature at 15+ hands and 1,100-1,200 pounds.
Surprise's sire is a Futurity Winner and Grand Champion in "Halter", "Western Pleasure", "Trail" and "Longe-Line". His get are consistently winning in the show ring. He is athletically bred with many APHA and AQHA World Champions and AAAT's in his pedigree. Surprise's dam has race, race, race in her background including some of the top notch Quarterhorse and Thoroughbred racing blood; Smashed Casanova, Easily Smashed, Easy Jet, Majestic Prince, etc. If you want to see the type of foals she throws, take a look at "Bandit". I think you will find that she throws some outstanding foals. She's even got a little Barrel Racing blood thrown in there to boot.
